Place four cones into a capital T. The height of the T should be ten yards, and the three cones forming the top of the T should each be three yards apart.
Athletes will gain a better understanding of how to quickly turn on the football field. This drill features two 90 degree turns and two complete 180 degree turns with three sections of ten yard sprints throughout.
Athletes start at the bottom of the T and begin the drill by sprinting forward and around the middle cone. After reaching the first cone, they will come under, and go around the side cone. After performing a 180 degree turn around the side cone, they will traverse over and across the top of the T. After performing one more 180 degree turn around the other outside cone, they will come back over the middle cone and spring through the finish line past the initial bottom cone.
