Criss Cross Drill
Place four cones in a 5 yard by 5 yard square.
Work on the ability for players to quickly decelerate and accelerate in and out of turns.
Players will cross the course diagonally two times throughout this drill while maintaining a full forward run throughout the entirety of the rep.
Start the drill by diagonally crossing to the opposite cone, then turn around and run across the top of the drill, before diagonally crossing again and turning around to complete the drill by sprinting through the bottom side.
Alternate the side of the starting cone so that the number of turns to each side is evened out.
