Prepare players for this drill by having all participants spread out on one of the sidelines.
This is a hardcore conditioning drill where players will run a long distance with many changes of direction. Finish off the practice with this conditioning drill to drain every last bit of energy and get every last bit of muscle fatigue and cardio out of players so that they will have the edge when desperate times come in real games.
Players start on one sideline and will have three different landmarks to run for throughout the drill. Each time they reach a landmark, they will bend down and touch it with their hand before they return back to the initial sideline.
The three landmarks are the three sets of hashes on a football field. The first leg is the close hash, the second leg is the far hash, and the third leg is the far sideline. Upon returning from each of these landmarks, the drill has concluded.
